There are no hidden extras or ongoing maintenenance costs (aside from "hosting" - see below) and no payment is requested until the until you are entirely satisfied with your website and ready to "go live".

"Hosting" is an unavoidable cost associated with owning a website. For your website to be accessible to people on the internet it must be placed on a "web server" - a powerful computer configured specifically for running websites with a permanent, high-speed connection to the internet.
